Sharoncwrites threw back the last of their drink and slammed the cup down on the bar.

“Another!” they shouted to the bartender, although the bar was quiet and only a single, sleeping person sat for down at the other end.

The bartender heaved a weary sigh and trudged back over to them. “More lemonade?”

“Make it a double, it’s been a long day.”

Sharoncwrites bowed their head against the bar, rolling their forehead back and forth. The day had started fine. Good mood, promotion at work, high fives from all the colleagues.

Then Death had recruited them to become a reaper.

Known for witty, vivid characters, Krista Walsh never has more fun than getting them into trouble and taking her time getting them out.


When not writing, she can be found reading, gaming, or watching a film – anything to get lost in a good story.
