I See You There, 2026
That’s right.
Planning has begun.
Because of course it has.
If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know I’m a bit obsessed with organizing my year.
Every year I have the same goal: to create the best, most foolproof plan to be THE MOST organized, THE MOST successful, THE MOST productive…
And then it all goes to crap in February.
But I have a slightly different plan this year. Mostly in that I’m intentionally underestimating my output and will be focusing more on growth in general. So I’ll still have my objectives and my to-do list, but hopefully with a more strategic slant to it.
How do I plan to do this?
With help, of course.
Because oh my gosh, I am not a strategically minded person. I’ve come to realize this and to accept it. I have my own strengths (which I plan to get into in future blog posts), and I’m proud of them, but I also need to be realistic about where my weaknesses are.
See? Growth. I’m already getting started and haven’t even changed the calendar over yet.
So I’m working with an amazingly patient and kind author friend of mine to help me prepare my objectives for the new year, creating a broader strategy that will (hopefully) be easier to stick with as a framework for the more flexible tactics within it.
From marketing to production to gasp budgeting, I want to be able to step into 2026 knowing that every step I take is walking me towards the ultimate goal. Which is, of course, world domination author success.
Are you making plans for the new year?
What is your method of getting organized?
